JULIA WILGOSH It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Julia Wilgosh, on Wednesday October 8, 2003. She will be lovingly remembered by her son Len; daughter Norma (Tom) Lotecki; grandchildren, Heather (Erik) Millward, Ryan Lotecki, Shannon (John) Jennissen and great-grandson Oliver Millward. She was predeceased by her husband Frank in 1991. Mom grew up in the Sandhills area but lived her adult life in Beausejour where she worked alongside her husband in the family business and raised their children. Mom was a very special person to all of us and we will miss her and her unconditional love in a way that words cannot express. Even at the age of 83, she remained young at heart and in spirit. Many of the friends who stopped by for impromptu visits were half her age and loved her company. The young neighbourhood children warmed up to her instantly and loved to visit with "Julia". Mom remained active and independent to the very end, taking daily walks with her dog Austin, playing scrabble and cards as often as she could find a partner, attending the dances and card games at the Seniors Club, and most importantly, staying in and looking after her own house. However, nothing pleased her as much as a phone call or a visit from her grandchildren. They meant the world to her. They only had to hint that they were in need of a batch of donuts or perogies and soon the supply would be waiting in Grandmas freezer. The family wishes to extend sincere gratitude to Audrey for always being there for Mom and for all her help and support. Prayers will be held on Sunday, October 12 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Marys Roman Catholic Church. Funeral Liturgy will be held on Monday, October 13 at 10:00 a.m. also at the Church with Rev. Fr. Owen Steeves presiding. In lieu of flowers, if friends and family so desire, donations may be made to a charity of ones choice. SOBERING FUNERAL CHAPEL & CREMATORIUM, Beausejour 268-3510 or Man.
