KLAUS GASENZER Passed away suddenly on October 10, 2003 at the age of 71 years. He is survived by his wife and best friend Irene; his children, Walter (Louisa), Michael (Connie), Jeffrey (Joanna) his step-children, Richard (Andrea), and Karen Chylinski; also nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; as well as one brother Heiner (Gertrude) Gasenzer of Germany. He was predeceased by his parents in Germany; his brother Herman (1961) and his previous wives, Julianna (1975) and Betty (1985). Klaus was born in Insterberg, East Prussia. He immigrated to Canada and settled in Toronto in 1954, he then moved to Winnipeg in 1967. Klaus established European Picture Framing in 1970. In 1984 he acquired Fleet Gallery with his son Jeffrey, though he was retired he was still active and enjoying his chosen trade at the time of his passing. Klaus enjoyed his travelling endeavours with wife Irene, and he loved his Jazz Music. Klaus sense of humour will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Memorial service is to take place on Thursday, October 16 at 7:00 p.m. at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy.
