Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLINDA MAY PENNER With peace of heart and knowledge that her work was done, Linda Penner, late of Oakville, MB, passed away with family at her side. Linda, a loving mother and wife of the late Henry Penner, will be remembered as a woman of strength and courage to her family, relatives and many friends. Her determined struggle with cancer ended on Saturday, October 11, 2003 at the age of 52 years. She leaves to mourn her passing, sons, Lorne (Megan) of Oakville, Bradley (Junie) and granddaughter Aurora of Winnipeg; sisters, Marjorie (Abe) Fehr of Winnipeg and June (Gilbert) Harrop of White Rock, BC and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held in the chapel of the Omega Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 15 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Ray Willms officiating. Interment will follow in the Oakville Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, October 14 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Omega Funeral Home. The Omega Funeral Home, Portage la Prairie are in care of arrangements. Linda was my best friend in school. The most honest person I was blessed to have known. I remember her at a young age meeting my parents for the first time and she offered her hand for them to shake. I really remember my parents being so impressed with her. Linda you taught me a lot about manners and I miss you so much.
