BRUNO TOMASSETTI On October 10, 2003 at the age of 71, our father, beloved husband and grandfather passed away peacefully. Bruno was born on September 1, 1932 in Venere dei Marsi, province of LAquila, Italy. Bruno leaves behind his wife of 45 years Giuseppina and his children, Luisa (Mario), Raffaele (Gabriella), Isabella (Diego) and Victor. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, brothers, Enzo and Alfio of Italy and Aldo of Calgary, AB and sister Nanda of Montreal, QC; sons-in-law and daughter-in-law. Bruno immigrated to Canada in 1956 and worked as a cement finisher for most of his life but he also worked for the Ft. Garry School Division. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14 from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m. in the Edward J. Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald St. A memorial mass celebrating Brunos life will be held on Tuesday, October 14 at 7:00 p.m. in the Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Ave. with Fr. Sam Argenziano officiating. The family would sincerely like to thank the ICU staff at the Victoria Hospital for their deep care and respect in our time of need.
