DORA GUTERMANN (nee HUEBSCH) 1923 - 2003 Dora died peacefully surrounded by her family at Vista Park Lodge, which was home to her for the past six years, where she was lovingly cared for. Dora was predeceased by the love of her life her husband Walter in July 1995, one daughter Brigitte (6 years) in 1946, and nephew Michael in 1988, whom she loved like her own son, and also all of her sisters and brothers. Dora and Walter came to Canada in 1953 and made their home in Winnipeg, then Flin Flon and then back to Winnipeg when Walter retired. She is lovingly remembered by nephews, Heinz (Trautchen), Rolf (Elizabeth), Mike (Sheilagh) and nieces, Ursula (Enrico), Gisela (Rudi) and all their families, also extended family in Germany. Funeral services will be held at Thomson Funeral Chapel, 669 Broadway on Thursday, October 16 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at St. Vital Cemetery. The family would like to say a special thank you to all the staff at Vista Park Lodge that took care of Dora right to the end. She loved you all!
