JACK CARRIERE Peacefully on Saturday, October 11, 2003 at the Health Sciences Centre, Jack Carriere passed away at the age of 70 years. Jack was predeceased by his father in 1957; mother in 1970 and several brothers and sisters. He leaves to mourn his sisters, Marge Anderson of Winnipeg and June Groening (Peter) of Calgary, AB; nephew and life companion Chuck Carriere; several more nieces and nephews; and many good friends. Jack was born in 1933 in Morden, MB moving to Starbuck in 1937 and Elm Creek in 1939 where he took his schooling. In 1949, he moved to Winnipeg. As a young man Jack started working for Holiday Coal Co., then Gibsons Bowling Alley and in 1968 he became employed by Rossmere Lanes fully retiring in June of 2003.
