GABRIEL GIRARD On October 12, 2003 in the presence of his family and friends, Gabe, aged 82 years old, passed away peacefully at the George M. Guimond Care Centre. He is survived by his son Clifford (Linda), son Danny (Marge) daughter Margaret Bruyere; one sister Verna (Harold) also his grandchildren, Sheila, Timothy, Thelma, Girard, Donovan, Maxine, Terry, Miriam, Ruby, Shannon, Daniel and Patrick; great-grandchildren, Brandon, Girard, Matthew, Marcus, Tia, Emma, Colton, Jacob, Jackie, Billy, Vincent, Chad, Vince Jr., Kyle, Ashley, Phil Jr., Jordon, Jeremy, Tanya, Tabitha, Daniel Jr., Aidan, Brennan, Carlee and great-great-grandchildren, Jazzy, Vincie, Jaiden, Keeven, Ahlaina. His special children, Mary, Dorothy, Louie and their children and grandchildren, also numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. He was predeceased by his wife Sarah Jane Girard; parents, Francois and Sarah Jane; brothers, Ambrose and Joe; sister Evangeline; grandson Clifford Jr. and grandson Vincent; special sons, Charlie and Reginald; also son-in-law Gilbert Bruyere. Wake services will commence on October 14 at Fort Alexander Roman Catholic Church, Fort Alexander, MB. Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17 at 2:00 p.m. also at the church. Interment will follow at the Christ Anglican churchyard. We would like to thank the George M. Guimond Care Centre staff for their care and compassion and Dr. Van Rooyen of the Pine Falls General Hospital in the loss of our father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
