Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNETTE KEITH (nee CHAGNON) Peacefully, on October 13, 2003 at the St. Boniface General Hospital, Annette, born August 25, 1934 in Pine Falls, left this world to begin her beautiful spiritual journey. Annette was raised on a farm and learned the meaning of hard work early in life. She was a homemaker and a great cook who enjoyed her wonderful collection of recipes and cookbooks. She also took great pride in her beloved houseplants. Her door was always open to everyone, just to chat with or to offer a word of encouragement and guidance to those who looked to her for her practical advice. Annette was of strong character, never afraid to express her opinion, with a strong belief in right and wrong. She was a kind woman committed to her family and friends and was always there to give love and support in times of need. She was happiest when surrounded by family and friends old and new. She faced her dying with the same courage with which she approached all of her lifes challenges. She went through or around the barriers and boundaries that life or people put in front of her. She did this always with her own special dignity and grace. She will be dearly missed, yet ever so close in spirit. We will always love you, Mom. Annette leaves to mourn her son David of Winnipeg and daughter Donna Boyer (Daniel) and their children, Angela of Pine Falls, MB and Curtis of Winnipeg. She is also survived by one sister Lillian Hunchak (Arthur) of Vancouver, BC; three brothers, Gerard (Margaret) of Great Falls, Fernand of St. Georges and Hector (Gerry) of Winnipeg, along with various nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Ralph (Ted) in 1991; her parents Dora and Oscar Chagnon; three brothers, Romeo, Victor and Lucian and two nieces Lucy and Audry. Annette received the most compassionate and professional care. No words can express our gratitude to the 911 operator, Lac Du Bonnet ambulance, nurses, doctors and staff of Pinawa Hospital, the Medical Intensive Care Unit and Palliative Care Unit of the St. Boniface Hospital and many relatives and friends who supported the family during this difficult time. You made the darkness brighter. Every single act of love demonstrated towards our mother will last forever. A celebration of Annettes life will take place on Friday, October 17 at 2:00 p.m. at Notre Dame du Lac Roman Catholic Church in Lac Du Bonnet, MB. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of your choice.
