DONALD WILLIAM (BILL) McMURCHY 1928 - 2003 It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our father and grandfather, Bill McMurchy, at his home on Saturday, October 11, 2003. He will be lovingly missed by his daughters, Tracy (Robert) and Sandra (Rob). Also left to cherish his memory are his five grandsons, Benjamin, Caleb, Jacob, Zachary and Luke. Grandpa Bill will live on in their hearts forever. Time spent with him was always special. Dad was born April 20, 1928 in Reston, MB to Archie and Clara McMurchy. He was the youngest (and last surviving) of 13 children. He lived in various places in Manitoba including Winnipeg, St. Adolphe and finally settling in La Broquerie. Dad will be remembered for his love of nature and his never-ending kindness towards animals. He could never turn away a stray. His constant companions, Tiger and Pal miss him dearly already. Funeral services will be held at Springs Church in Steinbach, 179 Chapel Dr. on Friday, October 17 at 3:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place. If so desired, donations can be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society in our dads name.
