ALLAN JACK HUNT April 21, 1928 - October 13, 2003 On October 13, 2003 at the St. Boniface Hospital, Allan Hunt, aged 75 years, after a lengthy battle from Diabetes. Al was born April 21, 1928 in Rathwell and at the age of 20 years was employed by the T. Eaton Co. as an electrician. In 1966 he was employed by the CNR and retired in 1990. Besides his loving wife Merle, he leaves to mourn his passing, his son John (Heather) granddaughter Deborah (Keith) and grandson Steven (Lucia). He will be lovingly remembered by his step-daughters, Barbara (Neil) Webb, Linda (Allen) Tandeberg, and Donna (Norbert) Wadien; and his special grandchildren, Jennifer (Lanny) Armstrong, Gregory Webb, Amber and Sara Tandeberg, and Kristina, Christopher and Nickalis Wadien. He is survived by sisters, Cecilia Robertson, Phyliss Parker; and brother Ted; and many nieces and nephews. Al was predeceased by his first wife Betty in 1978; brothers Clarence and Bill and sister Louisa Gibbons. In keeping with Als wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Friday, October 17, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint).
