Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJANE BURNS (nee DOZAR) Jane Burns passed away at Rose Walk Misercordia Place on Friday October 17, 2003. She was predeceased by her husband Murray Burns, her parents Fruma and Chaim Dozar; her brothers, Phil, Aaron, Eddie and Marsh Dozar; and her by granddaughter Fern Corrin. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Evelyn and Jack Corrin; her grandchildren, Sheila and Stewart Halper, Hennie and Richard Corrin; her great-grandchildren, Lisah Halper, Matthew, Rachel and Adam Corrin; and her sister Suni Silverman of Edmonton. Jane had a thirst for knowledge that led her to many pursuits. In the early years she wrote short stories for the Winnipeg Free Press and the Winnipeg Tribune. She was a member of the Kenora Little Theatre, the toastmistress club, the order of Eastern Star, Lilliam Freeman Chapter of Hadassah, Jewish Womens Musical Club and in her later years she obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Winnipeg. She was loved and respected by her family and she will be deeply missed. The family wish to thank the dedicated staff at Misercordia Place for the tender care she received. Funeral service is graveside at Shaarey Zedek Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 20. Private Shiva.
