THOMAS HENRY NAUTA It is with great sadness, that the family announces the passing of Thomas Henry Nauta on October 15, 2003 at the Riverview Health Centre at the age of 80 years. Tom immigrated to Canada from The Netherlands in 1950. He started his own market garden and eventually owned and operated "Toms Southend Stand" where he sold fresh fruit, vegetables and bedding plants. Tom is survived by his wife of 48 years Julie; daughter Martha (Arnie) of Winnipeg; son Tom (Patti) of Regina; and grandchildren, Stacey and Jason; sisters, Feikje, Riek, Joop and Han; and brothers, Feddie, Petrus and Jelle all of The Netherlands. Special thanks are extended to the wonderful, caring staff at the Riverview Health Centre. Your kindness and the special attention you gave to our loved one will never be forgotten. A special thank you to Tracy. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Tom may be made to the Riverview Health Centre. In compliance with Toms wishes, no funeral service will be held.
