ROGER MICHAEL SCHMORN It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Roger Michael Schmorn on Tuesday, October 14, 2003. Roger was born in Winnipeg on August 31, 1941 to Sonya and Michael Schmorn who have predeceased him. He is survived by a family who loved him immensely and will cherish his memory forever; his wife of 39 years Lorraine; children, Tracy (Jeff Sadowy), Debbie, Kathy and Roger (Joanne Foster) sister Joanne Krasicki and his grandchildren, Sara, Meghan, Blaine, Ivory, Sherise, Steven, Amber and Jared. Roger grew up and spent his entire life in Winnipegs North End. Having been a salesmen for most of his working career, Roger held positions with such companies as Hershey, Seven Cities, Alberto-Culver and Faberge. Roger loved and dedicated many years to volunteering for amateur hockey and held such positions as President of Boyd Park Community Centre, the North Winnipeg Midland Suns, executive with the Billy Mosienko Hockey Tournament, North Winnipeg Satellites and others. Roger also had a passion for golf where he was a member of Bel-Acres for many years. Roger was a loving husband and father who lived life to the fullest. He left an impression on everyone he met. Roger - husband, father, grandfather and friend - the words simply do not exist to explain how much we love you and how you will be missed enormously. We will forever offer our prayers for you and ask that God has accepted you into the peace and tranquility of His heavenly Kingdom. Rogers family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of D4 of Health Sciences Centre for their care and kindness. In accordance with Rogers wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no public services, although your prayers are appreciated. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the Canadian Liver Foundation, 1-800-563-5483. KORBAN FUNERAL CHAPEL 956-2193
