PATRICIA SCORER March 8, 1925 - October 16, 2003 Peacefully on October 16, 2003, Pat passed away at the Maples Personal Care Home. She leaves to cherish her memory, sisters, Rita Scorer of Winnipeg and Aileen Fiddler of Winnipeg Beach; loving niece Bev (Brian) Lee; great-nephew Cameron Lee; great-niece Jennifer (Mike) Macieborski and their children, Rachael and Curtis of Langley, BC and relations in England and Wales. She was predeceased by her parents, William and Elizabeth Scorer; sisters, Betty Paulley, Marion Warren, Mary Scorer and Lucille Ross. She was a very devoted person in her career as a director of nursing at the Childrens Hospital until her retirement in 1985. She firmly believed in helping children and parents and established "Fund For Children" to readily provide for this. She remained very active with numerous and never ending volunteer activities until becoming ill. In accordance with Pats wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life for Pat will take place on Monday, October 27, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Annie A. Bond, FE127, 685 William Ave., Winnipeg. Many thanks to the staff at Maples Personal Care Home for the care and compassion they gave to Pat and for the friends who visited throughout her stay at the nursing home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pats memory to the "Fund for Children" established by Pat Scorer, in care of the Childrens Hospital or to a charity of ones choice. She will be remembered and sadly missed by all who knew her. We miss you Pat, but the wonderful memories will live on. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
