LYDIA BUECHLER (ROSSNAGEL) On October 16, 2003 at Victoria Hospital, Lydia Buechler passed away with her family at her side. Mom is survived by her son Bob; daughters, Debbie (Winston) and Kim (Keith) and her beloved grandsons, Wayde (Denise) and Donn Eccles. She also leaves to mourn her brother Ed and Margaret Rossnagel, sister Emma Ross, many sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews. Mom was predeceased by her parents, husband John in 1966, six brothers, three sisters and former son-in-law Jim Eccles. Mom was born July 1, 1924 in Waldersee, MB. She previously worked at Domtar Packaging for 20 years. Moms life was her family and grandchildren. In her healthy years, she enjoyed cooking, baking and sewing for her family and she always kept an open home for all those who needed one. She had many health struggles through her life which always slowed her down. We would like to thank the ICU staff at Victoria Hospital and Dr. A. H. Khan for the wonderful care she received. Donations can be made on her behalf to the Arthritis Society. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with a light lunch to follow. A private interment will be held at Brookside Cemetery.
