MARIE McNEILL It is with the greatest of sorrow that the family of Marie McNeill announces her passing on October 7, 2003, at the age of 82 years. Marie was predeceased by her husband Charlie and her parents, Michael and Annie Kopanski. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Darlene Wazny; granddaughters, Cindy Wazny, Lori Wazny (Steven) Elliot; great-grandson Harrison McNeill; brother Peter (Jean) Kopanski. Marie worked as a hairdresser for many years at the Nu Fashion Salon until her retirement. Marie loved gardening, baking and cooking her favourite recipes of cabbage rolls, perogies and borscht for her family. She enjoyed travelling with her husband Charlie to Hawaii and Arizona. Marie was a kind, generous person who was very independent in spite of the many challenges with her health. In keeping with Maries wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 25 at 2:00 p.m. in the Salvation Army Community Chapel, 401 Henderson Hwy., Winnipeg, with Padre G. R. Killen officiating.
