DAVID LOW MORE David Low More, born December 26, 1919, in Winnipeg, MB, passed away in Victoria, BC on October 13, 2003, surrounded by his family. Left to mourn are Ann, his wife of 56 years; his son Robert (Lea Starr, Vancouver) his daughters, Wendy (Regina), Nancy (Don Plonka, Courtenay), Karen (John Burrows, Port Moody) and Constance (Swift Current) and his grandsons, Michael (Courtenay) and Alexander (Vancouver). Predeceased by his four older brothers, Jack, Alex, George and Bob, David is also survived by many nieces nephews and other relatives across Canada. David joined the RCAF in 1940 and served as a flight sergeant in the Aleutian Islands with the 8 Bomber Reconnaissance Squadron. He went on to join the federal civil service and retired after 36 years. Devoted husband, wonderful father and beloved grandfather, his quiet strength and sense of humour will be with us always. A private family service will be held Saturday, October 18 at St. Aidans United Church in Victoria. Donations may be made in lieu of flowers to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of British Columbia and Yukon.
