Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDOUGLAS WILSON MUNRO Our family sadly announces the passing of Doug on Wednesday, October 15, 2003 at the age of 46. Doug was born in Edmonton, AB the second of three children. When Doug was very young, the family moved to Winnipeg where they settled in River Heights. Doug found his calling working at St. Vital and Star Lumber and was known to have an excellent memory of where to find everything at work. He was an active and energetic man, he was always busy with something. Doug loved to spend time driving the boat at the lake and snowmobiling at the farm. Dougs true joy was spending time with family and kids, especially with his nieces, nephew and cousins. He also had a rapport with animals, especially dogs. Doug was an amazing person who would do anything for anyone who asked. Doug was predeceased by his mother, Kathleen Munro; and his aunt Eleanor Trenholm. He will be greatly missed by his father Darcy; two sisters, Joan (Gordon Wiebe) and Lois (Ralph Martins) three nieces, and a nephew, Carolyn, Dawn, Russell and Caitlin; Uncle Harold Trenholm; and his cousins Kathy Brown (Blair), Gordon Trenholm (Lynda) and Neil Trenholm (Joy) and their families. The family would like to thank the S.I.C.U. Unit at the Health Sciences Centre for their kindness. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 21 at 1:30 p.m. at the Westworth United Church, 1750 Grosvenor Avenue, interment and reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society, 5 Kent Street, Winnipeg, MB R2L 1X3 or the Independent Interpreter Referral Service for Interveners, 204-301 Nassau St. N., Winnipeg, MB R3L 2J5.
