Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARJORIE EVELYN RUNCIMAN (nee DICK) Mrs. Marjorie Evelyn (nee Dick) Runciman, beloved wife of the late Mr. Alexander Runciman of Red Deer, AB, passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2003 at the age of 83 years. Marjorie Evelyn, daughter of James and Agnes (nee Behrns) Dick was born on the farm in the Abernethy District of Saskatchewan on June 11, 1920. In 1949, she and Mac Runciman were married and built their home on a farm only two miles from where she was born. Their two daughters were born while they lived on the farm. In 1961, the family moved to Winnipeg, MB. Marjorie was a lifetime member of St. Agnes Guild of Childrens Hospital in Winnipeg. She was a faithful worker of the Childrens Hospital Book Market for thirty-four years. This organization raised remarkable sums of money committed to research for sick children. Mac and Marjorie moved to Red Deer, AB in April 1999. Marjorie will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by her daughters, Dorothy and her husband, Paul Hryniuk and one grandson, Graham Hryniuk of Red Deer, AB and Cathy and her husband, Blair Walkington of Balcarres, SK. She is also survived by her sisters, brothers and their spouses, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and many dear friends. Marjorie was predeceased by her beloved husband, Alexander (Mac) Runciman in December 2000. Respecting Marjories wishes, no funeral service will be held. Cremation entrusted to Central Alberta Crematorium, Red Deer, AB. "Just as I am, thou will receive, Will welcome, pardon, cleanse, relieve; Because thy promise I believe, O Lamb of God, I come." If desired, memorial donations in Marjories memory may be made to the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre Foundation P.O.
