Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOSEPH GERARD HANLON (CHICK) Peacefully on Saturday, October 18, 2003, at Oakview Place, Chick, age 77, passed away with his wife Theresa and family by his side. He will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife Theresa; son Gerry (Darlene), grandchildren Jennifer (Craig) and Derek; daughter Catherine (John), granddaughter Angela (Todd), their children, Sara and Dylan, granddaughter Linda and grandson Paul; daughter Rosanne (Daryl), grandchildren, Kristen and Joshua; son Christopher (Wendy), grandchildren, Taylor and Perry. Chick served in the Canadian Forces for 18 years with 2RCHA in Winnipeg and Rivers and 1 Drone Troup in Shilo. Following his retirement from the military he joined Perth Services Ltd. where he worked for a number of years as materials manager. Chick was a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus St. James Council and 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus Archbishop Sinnott Assembly in Brandon. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 21, at 10:30 a.m. at Blessed John XXIII Parish, 3390 Portage Ave., with Msgr. Maurice Comeault officiating.
