HELEN McINTYRE (nee LOEWEN) April 7, 1924 - October 18, 2003 Peacefully, after a long struggle, with her loving family by her side, Mom left to be with Dad. Left to cherish her memory are children, Audrey, John, Lois (Ray), Cliff (Wendy), Dorothy (Steve), Doris (Ed) 20 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, five brothers and three sisters. She was predeceased by her husband Ross; son Donald; son-in-law Sandy; and daughter-in-law Barb; and eight brothers. Mom was born and raised in Hague, SK, and later moved to Manitoba where she got married and raised her family in Clarkleigh. The family thanks all the staff of the Lundar Personal Care Home for their wonderful care. Sincere thanks to the nursing staff at E.M. Crowe Memorial Hospital for their support and compassionate care. Viewing will be held prior to the service. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 23 at Oak Point Community Hall in Oak Point, MB, with Pastor Bill Watson officiating. Interment to follow at Clarkleigh Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Robert Miller, Curtis Miller, Donald Miller, Sean McIntyre, Gordon McIntyre and Quinton McIntyre. Honorary pallbearers will be her granddaughters, Meredith McIntyre, Audrey McIntyre, Jennifer McIntyre, Kim Farthing, Kelly Young, Terry Farthing and Ashley Kuczera.
