Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryAIMIE LAFRENIERE 1919-2003 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Aimie Lafreniere, 84 on Friday, October 17, 2003 at Dryden General Hospital with his loving friend Myrtle Groneng by his side. He was predeceased by his wife Elizabeth in 1982; his parents, Alex and Elizabeth; his sister, Mary Knowles, and his brothers, James and Allen Lafreniere. Left to mourn his passing are his brothers, Clovis Lafreniere of Fisher Branch and Leo (Tina) Lafreniere of Winnipeg and numerous nieces and nephews. Aimie enjoyed working outdoors and tending his garden. He loved nature and often provided care for wildlife near his home in Dryden. In the fall he and his friend Myrtle would always make the trip out to the Fisher Branch area to visit family and friends. A memorial service was held in Dryden, ON on Tuesday, October 21. A prayer night will be held on Wednesday, October 22 at 7:30 p.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church in Fisher Branch, MB. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, October 23 at 10:30 a.m. with interment to follow at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
