DIANE ALICE NAULT (nee DECOSSE) Peacefully on Sunday, October 19, 2003, Diane passed away after a courageous battle. The eighth of eleven children, Diane was born June 29, 1942, to Myrtle and Romeo Decosse of Somerset, MB. She looked out for her younger sister and brothers, joining in their youthful shenanigans. Upon graduation, she studied nursing at St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg. Diane married Gilles Nault in 1965, and moved to Ste. Anne, MB, where she continued nursing at Ste. Anne Hospital. A devoted mother, Diane raised three children, Michael, Monique and Suzanne - with unconditional love. She was extremely active in her childrens lives and in the community. Sharing her love of sports, Diane coached minor hockey, ringette, baseball and soccer, and was involved in figure skating. She instilled sportsmanship, fair play and hard work in all. Diane returned to nursing after several years away, providing care and her personal touch to the lives of residents at Villa Youville. Her sense of humour and love of life are gifts she shared with the many people who loved her. Left to celebrate her life are children, Michael, Monique and Suzanne; daughter-in-law Monique and grandson Stefan; son-in-law Dameon and grandson Sebastien. Her memory will also live on in Evelyn, Gisele, Jeanette; her many other friends, and those whose lives she touched.
