FILADELFO SORIANO Filadelfo Honrado Soriano has joined our Creator, The Almighty God and his only son Jesus Christ, on October 17, 2003, at 3:15 p.m. at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 71. On his passing, we, as his family, will greatly missed his presence. But the Almighty God and his only son Jesus Christ had called him. He was predeceased by his father Santiago V. Soriano; his mother Felina H. Soriano; his daughter Rosario B. Soriano; his stepmother Martina M. Soriano; and all deceased uncles, aunties and cousin in the Phils. Filadelfo is survived by his wife Simplicia B. Soriano; and his children, Angelo, Liberato, Fanny (Ted), Imelda (Willy), Marcy (Sherrie) grandchildren, Hayster, Homer, Herbert, Ashley, Michael, Mark, Maverick, Mitchell, Anjelica, Monica, Amanda, Kristian, Jerric, Aimslie and Noah; brothers, Cresenciano (Remy) in the Phils, Romeo (Rose) in Toronto, Melanio (Percy) in California; and sister Asuncion (late Genero Boquiren). Tatay Filadelfo was born in Pangasinan, Phils, on August 15, 1932. He immigrated to Canada with his family on July 21, 1981. He did various jobs, which he enjoyed to the fullest. He was an active member with the Pangasinan Group of Manitoba, where he gained so many friends among Pangasinases. He enjoyed attending different functions within his community, as well as other communities. He enjoyed his visits to California, Las Vegas, Toronto and Calgary. He loved driving along Highway One East. He enjoyed his walks by the park and morning walks at Garden City Mall during winter time. With his passing, we, the family of late Filadelfo H. Soriano, would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the staffs of Emergency Room, CCU and MICU at the Health Sciences Centre for all their care and compassion during this time. We would like to thank all friends and members of the Couple of Christ for their continuous support and prayers. Lamay/viewing will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight on Friday, October 24 at Chapel Lawn Memorial Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. (across from Assiniboia Downs). Prayers will be held at the viewing at 7:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home. Mass will be held on Saturday, October 25 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Edwards Parish Church, Arlington Street, with Father Vic Tunghol officiating. Interment will be at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
