IRENE ANNE TRENT Our family regrets to announce the death of Irene Trent on October 20, 2003 after a brief final illness. Irene was predeceased by her husband Michael; and her parents, Ignace and Anne Owsiany. She is survived by her son Michael (Charlene) and grandchildren, Colin, Michael Jr. and Jenna. Also surviving are her sister Wanda (Frank) nephews, Sean (Joanne) and Frank (Christine). In her early career, Irene worked at Manitoba Cartage and The Hutchings Company. Prior to her retirement she gave many years of devoted service as secretary at Holy Ghost Church. She will be warmly remembered for her gracious hospitality, especially by her adopted family at St. Benedicts Monastery. The family thanks the nursing staff of N3 East at Concordia Hospital and at Maples Personal Care Home for their gentle and compassionate care of Irene. Prayers will be at St. Alphonsus Church, Munroe and Brazier on Thursday, October 23 at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 24 at 10:00 a.m. also at St. Alphonsus Church with Br. Jorge Villegas, O.F.M. cap presiding. Interment will follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to a charity of your choice. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
