IRMA LYNDON It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Irma Lyndon, on Tuesday, October 21, 2003 at the age of 69, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Jack (1997) and parents, Julianna (1987) and Otto (1985) Kowalsky. Irma will be lovingly remembered by her children, Gayleen (Ross) Robertson, Gerald (Lynette) Lyndon; grandson Christopher; sisters, Gertrude Nykorak, Frances (Ron) Giese and Florence Kowalsky. Mom devoted her life to caring for her family. We will miss her strong will, sense of humour and love for family. She enjoyed many hours of quilting, and bible study with her friends at the St. Paul Lutheran Church where she was a member for many years. She drew her strength from her love and devotion to God. The family of Irma Lyndon would like to express their heartfelt thanks to those who cared for her, from the homecare workers to the hospital staff at Grace Hospital Palliative Care Ward. Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24, at 2:00 p.m. at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Steinbach, 465 Henry St., with Pastor Al Maier officiating.
