Anne and Leo raised their family in North Kildonan where they lived and worked for many years. Annes home was always welcoming and she would greet her grandchildren with open arms and enjoyed many sleepovers with them. Grandma Anne was a great babysitter and treasured spending time with each of her grandkids. She also enjoyed entertaining family and friends with her many dinners as well as evenings with her card-playing friends. These events were always a source of laughter and fun which she talked about and missed in her later years. A small gathering of friends and family will celebrate Annes life at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 25. Please call 661-6942 or 663-9564 for further details.

We miss our gram daily & think of her on our country driving trips to enjoy nature as she always enjoyed. Just the most amazing mother in law anyone could ever ask for & the most wonderful lady loved by everyone that knew her. She was one amazing cook & I will always continue to make her amazing recipes such as pyrogys, cabbage rolls & burgers. Love & miss you Mom & Gram. - Posted by: Marge & Gary Schmidt (son & daughter-in-law) on: Nov 01, 2023
