VERENA BRIDGETTE WEBB July 15, 1926 - October 22, 2003 Peacefully on Wednesday, October 22, 2003 at the Deer Lodge Centre, Winnipeg, MB, Verena Webb, beloved wife of the late Reg Webb, formerly of Lac du Bonnet, passed away. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Ann Dixon (Dave), Carol McDougall; grandchildren, Paul (Barb), Scott (Lindsay), Julie (Tom), Michael and Natalie (Dan), as well as her greatest joy in recent years, her great-grandchildren, Jordan, Blake, Chloe, Kelsey and Sylvia. She said they made her heart smile. She was predeceased by her parents Harry and Gladys Hyde; husband Reg; mother and father-in-law and a brother-in-law Darrel. She was born July 15, 1926 in Cheltenham, England and was an only child of Harry and Gladys Hyde. She and her husband Reg lived in Winnipeg from 1957 until they retired to Lac du Bonnet in 1988. Verena returned to Winnipeg last year due to her health. She loved to needlepoint, knitting and she loved to go camping with her husband. Her greatest joy was her family, they were very important to her. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held on Monday, October 27 at 2:00 p.m. from the Lac du Bonnet Legion with Rev. Jake Doell officiating. If friends so desire, memorial donations in her memory may be made to the Manitoba Lung Association or the Winnipeg Humane Society. The family would like to thank the staff of 4E at Deer Lodge Centre and Dr. Peter Warren for the care given to our mother.
