DIANE GEMBEY (nee CREVIER) Diane left this life in the early hours of October 24, 2003. A day before her 48th birthday she was given the gift of dying at home surrounded by the love of her husband Eric and sons, Curtis and Matthew. Diane had many gifts to share with her family and friends. She approached all aspects of her life with undeniable passion. Graduated from Misericordia General Hospital School of Nursing in 1976. She excelled as a registered nurse, with VON and later at Riverview Health Centre. Her creativity was ever evident in her home with her beautiful stained glass creations and the many collectables that adorned her walls from trips she and Eric made to Minneapolis, her favourite vacation spot. The warmth of her home was central to the many gatherings of family and friends that Diane loved so much. We will miss her unique humour and unmistakable laugh. "Have you got a gun?" The thing which she will be most remembered for is her unconditional love and support for family, her precious sons, husband and her princess Bourbon Beam. She also leaves behind three brothers, Gilles (Alice), Jean-Guy (Danette), Marc (Cathy) and one sister Nicole (Celine) In laws, Harry and Agnes Gembey; brothers-in-law, Barry (Kim), Ken (Lori) and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Gilles and Therese. The family would like to thank Dr. Lotocki and the caring staff at CancerCare St. Boniface who were central in Dianes short valiant battle with ovarian cancer and the staff on 3B at St. Boniface.
