MARY KOPYCHANSKY Peacefully on Friday, October 24, 2003, Mary Kopychansky aged 91 years, passed away at the Holy Family Nursing Home. Mary was predeceased by her first husband Steve, second husband George, son Dan and granddaughter Cynthia. She leaves to mourn her son Nestor, four grandsons, Phillip, Danny, David and Jeff; one granddaughter Sylvia and her husband Gilbert; four great-grandchildren, Renee and Michael Jeanson, Lisa and Carey Bolton. Mary was born October 1, 1912 in the village of Senkiw, Ukraine. She immigrated to Canada in 1919 and settled in Rosa where she met and married Steve Hrishkewich in 1930. They lived there until 1955 and then moved to Winnipeg, where she spent the rest of her life. Throughout her lifetime, Mary was actively devoted to St. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Rosa and to Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral in Winnipeg. Prayers and Service will be held on Tuesday, October 28 at 1:00 p.m. at the Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Interment to follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
