JO-ANN LANGRILL March 17, 1954 - October 27, 2003 Sadly, the family of Jo-Ann Langrill announces her sudden passing on October 27 at her residence. She was 49. Jo-Ann was predeceased by her father George in 1959 and by her mother Frances (Tootsie) in February. She is survived by her sister Laurie MacIntosh (Doug) and her brother David Langrill (Valerie). She also leaves her nephews, Cameron and Scott MacIntosh, Gordie Langrill and her niece Kim Langrill, all of whom she was very proud. Jo-Ann will be remembered affectionately by her aunts, uncles, many cousins and their families. Jo-Ann lived all of her life in Selkirk, never wishing to stray far from home. Jo-Ann had a big heart and was a friend to all. She particularly loved small children and spent many years babysitting. She liked to keep in contact with some of her young charges and took great delight in their accomplishments. As well as many lifelong friends, Jo-Ann enjoyed the friendship of many in her block. They were her "other" family, a source of companionship and support that meant a great deal to her. People were the important thing to Jo-Ann and she loved and cared for many. Her willing acceptance of others made her a friend to all. Well miss you, Jo A Service of Remembrance will be held on Friday, October 31 at 11:00 a.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk with Pastor Stan Richards officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, 6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
