LOUIS JOSEPH GABRIEL LAVIGNE At the age of 53, Louis Joseph Gabriel Lavigne passed away peacefully, after a lengthy illness, on Sunday, October 26, 2003 at St. Boniface Hospital with his family at his side. Louis leaves to mourn his passing biological daughter Mary; siblings, Marcel (Gisele), Lorraine (Patrick Thiessen), Jeanne (Phillippe Lussier) and Anne (Mark Cloutier) also many nieces and nephews. His extended family includes many cherished friends and the staff of Sals on Deacons Corner. Louis was a dedicated machine operator with Borland Construction for over 20 years. The family extends special thanks to Dr. Kati, Dr. Tan, as well as the staff of CancerCare Manitoba and Palliative Care at St. Boniface Hospital, for their care and consideration given to Louis. A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, October 29 at 10:00 a.m. in Green Acres Funeral Chapel. Interment will take place at Green Acres Memorial Gardens at a later date. In lieu of flowers, should friends desire, a donation in his memory may be made to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation, ON109-675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3G 1S6.
