YVONNE VAN WOENSEL (nee DE SMET) It is with great sadness that we the family announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Yvonne Van Woensel on October 25, 2003 at the Lorne Memorial Hospital, Swan Lake, MB at the age of 79 years, beloved wife of the late Marcel Van Woensel. Yvonne leaves to mourn her passing and to cherish her loving memory, six children, Raymond (Kathy), Armand (Pat), Christine (Murray) Anderson, Annabelle (Victor) Desrochers, Edwin and Melvin Van Woensel; eight grandchildren, Diane (Harald) Sehn, Marcel and Rayleen Van Woensel, Mandy, Amy and Neal Van Woensel, Armand (Nicole) Desrochers and Kimberly Desrochers; three great-grandchildren, Samantha Sehn, Chase and Hannah Desrochers; one brother Leon De Smet; one sister Simone De Vloo; as well as nephews, Albert (Alice) and George (Leona) De Vloo. She was predeceased by her husband Marcel Van Woensel; parents, Philomon and Celina De Smet; and brother-in-law Jerome De Vloo Prayers will be said from the Budz Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, October 29 at 7:30 p.m. Mass of the Christian burial will be celebrated from the St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, Swan Lake, on Thursday, October 30 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery, Swan Lake. As expressions of sympathy, if friends so wish, donations may be made in Yvonnes memory to the Lorne Memorial Health Foundation, Box 40, Swan Lake, MB ROG 2SO, to the Cancer Care Manitoba Foundation, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E OV9.
