PETER ROBERT WOOD CD Peter passed away suddenly on October 23, 2003, aged 78. He was born in Winnipeg where he lived most of his life. Peter was a Signalman in the 25th CIB Signal Squadron, returning from Service in Korea in August 1952. He remained as a member of the Reserve Forces for many years, attaining the rank of Sergeant. He was a proud member of Branch 4 of the Royal Canadian Legion. Peter is survived by his sons, Brian and Douglas; brother George (Barbara) sister Katharine (Dick) Lennox; nieces, nephews, grandchildren and his great friend Phyllis McKinnon. Peter was a volunteer driver for the Canadian Cancer Society for many years. He was a very kind and caring person. Goodbye and Godspeed Peter, we will all miss you. Memorial service to be held on November 1, at 2:00 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion, 1755 Portage Ave., Winnipeg. No flowers thanks, just remember Peter. If you wish, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
