JUDITH (JUDY) VIOLET CAMERON After a courageous battle with Leukemia it is with great sadness we announce the passing of Judith Violet Cameron on Tuesday, October 28, 2003 at the age of 62 years. Judy was born in Winnipeg on September 12, 1941. Judy was employed as a Pay & Benefits Analyst for the Federal Government for the past thirty years. She worked at Customs & Excise until her retirement in 2001. Judy had a love for life and touched all the hearts of everyone who knew her. She was one of a kind and her contagious laugh will be missed by all. Judy loved working on her crafts, going to Bingo and spending time with family and friends she enjoyed spending Sundays with her granddaughter. She was predeceased by her mother Vera Sigurdson in 1995 and her Father Wilson Cameron in 1991. She leaves to mourn two daughters Debbie (Dennis), Rhonda (Jimmy) and son Gerry (Laurie) and one granddaughter Melanie. She also leaves two sisters, four brothers and numerous nieces and nephews. We would like to thank all the nurses at CancerCare and the staff at GD6 at Health Sciences Centre for all their care and compassion. A special thank you to her sister Sandra for all her support to Mom and her family. A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 3 at 11:00 a.m. in Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway. Interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Lysohirka, Derek Sigurdson, Jamie Cameron, Chris Cameron, Jeff Cameron and Ron Cameron.
