Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLIONEL STEWART CLOUSTON Tragically on October 27, 2003 at his farm at Cloverdale, Stewart Clouston, aged 53 years, died of a farming accident. Stewart was born in Selkirk on February 25, 1950 and graduated from the Selkirk Collegiate High School in 1968. He married his high school sweetheart, Donna Stamm, on July 18, 1970. They bought a property in Cloverdale and Stewart worked as a plumber. In 1981 he left his employment as a plumber and turned towards his passion of farming. Stewart was a very hard worker and took great pride in his family and his farming operation. He had a great circle of friends and was always ready for company. He had a very quick wit and a great sense of humour. Many of us will miss his practical jokes played on family members. Everyone he met was provided with their own personal nickname. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Donna; son Richard (friend Janice Zaluski) daughter Angela Brydges (Albert) grandchildren, Matthew and Stephanie Brydges; his mother Margaret of Selkirk; brothers, Bryan (Brenda) of Red Deer, AB and Les of Cloverdale; sisters, Jean Mabee (Larry) of Selkirk, Diane Franks (Art) of Petersfield and Val Marmonier (Brian) of Gunton; mother-in-law Kristine Stamm, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 1 at 2:00 p.m. in the Selkirk United Church with Rev. Hugo Unruh officiating. Interment will follow in the Cloverdale United Churchyard. Active pallbearers will be Jason and Jayme Klassen, Lorne and Kelly Fisher, Mike Johanson and Trenton Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be, Larry, Gus and David Stamm, Larry Mabee, Leonard Railton, George Fedoruk, Ed Kamer, Bill Phelan, William Benjamin, Jon and Dan Kell, Craig Feeke, Jason Moldwon and Joey Potter. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Arthritis Society of Manitoba, 386 Broadway, Winnipeg MB R3C 3R6. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
