JEANNE TARDIFF Peacefully, at the age of 73, after a long battle with Alzheimers. Jeanne is predeceased by her parents and nine brothers and sisters, and leaves behind Dollard, her husband of 55 years; her sons, Larry and wife Jill, Don and wife Yvonne, Ron and wife Ann; her daughters, Dianne and husband Ken Trinkl, Rita and husband Gilles Vandal, and Faye; her grandchildren, Denise and husband David Breen, Elliot, Tracy, Cameron, Nicholas, Raven, and Randean, her "chosen daughter" Jeanne Rudniski, and her sisters, Loraine Maroon and Margaret Middleton. As a child Jeanne lived on a farm in Vassar, MB and gathered all the sick and stray animals to her. When she got older and married she opened her arms to many foster children and continued to nurture those in need, both two legged and four legged. She was very involved with the Belgian Sacred Heart Church, both as a Cub Scout leader and the Catholic Womens League. She was also actively involved in the political community and held a seat on the Residents Advisory Group for St. Boniface, St. Vital and Elmwood. She will be fondly remembered for her commitment to family, her love of laughter, her unselfish nature and her strength. A celebration of Jeannes life will be held on Saturday, November 1 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Alphonsus Church, Munroe and Brazier. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimers Society, 10-120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2. GREEN ACRES Funeral Home, Cemetery and Crematorium Hwy. #1 E. at Navin, 222-3241
