ANNE SLOBODIAN Peacefully on Thursday, October 30, 2003 at the Fred Douglas Lodge, Anne Slobodian passed away with Lorraine, Dan, Cheryl and Kelly at her side. Anne is survived by sister-in-law Jean Slobodian; nieces, Lorraine (Dan) Mulvihill and family; Joan (Roy) Thornson and family; nephews, Ron (Adele) Slobodian and family; John (Pat) Slobodian and family and Ken Alexander. Anne was predeceased by her mother, Olena and father Michael; sister Sophie; brothers, Nick and John. Anne was a lifelong member of Blessed Virgin Mary Church. She also belonged to the seniors club. She enjoyed playing Bingo and working in the garden. In her younger days she enjoyed many trips to Minneapolis. Anne was a hard worker all her life up until her early retirement from Primco to care for her mother. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Fred Douglas Lodge. Special thanks goes out to the nursing staff on the Oak Ward, especially Pastor John, Heather and Richard, your kindness will not be forgotten. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 1 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery.
