DEANNE LINDSAY TOPNIK With profound sadness the family announces the sudden passing of Deanne, on October 29, 2003. In the prime of her life, she was taken away from her loving family and friends. Left to cherish her memory is her mother Barb Murray (Gus) father Howard Topnik (Shirley Ganske) brother Cam; Granny Elsie Topnik and Deannes boyfriend Kevin Bryk. She will also be sadly missed by all her cousins, aunts, uncles and many dear friends and co-workers. Deanne was predeceased by her Grandpa Jake Topnik in May 2003. Deanne was born November 28, 1981 in Winnipeg. She lived and attended school in the Norwood area and graduated from Nelson McIntyre Collegiate. She was currently attending the University of Manitoba faculty of Science, working towards a medical lab technician degree. Deanne was extremely loving, friendly, generous and outgoing. She loved spending time with family and friends. She was a shining light to all who knew her. Her bubbly personality was an inspiration to all. Deanne was an avid reader, excellent swimmer and enjoyed spending time at the farm and the lake. To Deanne all animals were "so cute" and were keepers. Deannes artistic flair was evident in her fine needlework, paintings, calligraphy and her writings. She met many challenges and became the independent bright loving soul we will always remember. Deanne, you were a precious sister, daughter, granddaughter and cousin. We will always love and miss you. May you rest peacefully. A celebration of Deannes life will be held on Monday, November 3 at 11:00 a.m. in the Beautiful Saviour Church, 1541 St. Marys Rd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 1101 - 191 Lombard Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3B 0X1 or the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent Rd., Winnipeg, MB R2L 9Z9.
