JOHN BELENSKY It is with heartfelt sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of our brother, uncle, great-uncle and great-great uncle, John Belensky on October 29, 2003, at the Victoria General Hospital. John was born in Dauphin, MB, on or about March 16, 1928. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Mary; and his sisters, Elsie and Kathleen. He will be sadly missed by his sister Helen Bilcowski (Thunder Bay) and generations of nieces and nephews. John enjoyed the things in life that many people take for granted. He was happiest when he was sitting in the park enjoying nature and all its wonder, listening to his Ukrainian music and spending time with his family and friends. We are so grateful for the care and compassion shown to John by the ICU staff at both the Seven Oaks and Victoria General Hospitals, as well as the staff on the 5th floor of the Victoria Hospital. In keeping with Johns wishes, service will be held in Dauphin on Tuesday, November 4 at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements entrusted to the care of: Sneath-Strilchuk Funeral Services, Dauphin, Manitoba.
