JOSEPH LORNE MORIN Sadly, we announce the passing of our dear husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend, on Monday, October 27, 2003. Joseph Lorne Morin was born June 25, 1932 in Sudbury, ON. He spent 27 years in Winnipeg, MB before moving to Kamloops, BC in the fall of 2002. He was predeceased by his father William and mother Iola. Lorne will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 42 years, Mary; his four children, Daphne and husband Michael McRae of Kamloops, Karen and husband Kirby Baynton and stepson Adam of Saskatoon, Bill of Winnipeg, and Jason and wife Janette of Winnipeg; his sister Betty Garand and husband Bill of Toronto; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Lorne will long be remembered for his storytelling, humour, and generous heart. His family was his first love, and he greatly enjoyed their visits and celebrations. Lorne could always find a reason to get together and went the extra mile to make sure everyone was taken care of. The family wishes to thank all the doctors and nurses at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops for their care during his stay there. Funeral service will be held Saturday, November 1 at Sacred Heart Cathedral, 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Box 1412, Kamloops, BC V2C 6L7, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 203 - 635 Victoria St., Kamloops, BC V2C 2B3 in Lornes memory are gratefully acknowledged.
