MIKE BEREZOWSKI On October 31, 2003 Mr. Mike Berezowski of Kamloops passed away at the age of 85 years. He is survived by wife of 62 years Petronella (Bea), two daughters, Betty (Bob) LaMar of Kennewick, WA and Lorraine (Jack) Biggan of Kamloops; and one son Randy (Michelle) Berezowski of Kamloops. Mike will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Pamela (Brian) Gray and Darren Fairweather both of Kennewick, Marvin (Cheryl) Yaremkewich of Oliver, BC, Michael (Leslie) Yaremkewich of Nanaimo, BC, Marlin Berezowski of Calgary, AB and Tabitha Berezowski-Emerick of Queensland, Australia; also by two great-grandsons, Colton and Connor Gray of Kennewick; two sisters, Karoline Demchuk of Winnipeg and Mary Kaminski of Arborg, MB; and many nieces and nephews in Winnipeg and area. Mike was predeceased by his son Lorne in 1989. Mike worked in Gimli, MB for the Department of National Defence for 33 years. He moved to Kamloops in 1980 upon retirement. Mikes passion in life was hunting and fishing. He worked hard at farming, enjoyed being a heavy equipment operator and in his retirement years he loved the outdoors, travelling around the Kamloops area in his Rover and enjoyed his yard and fruit trees. Liturgy of the Word will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 4 at 11:00 a.m. at the Schoening Funeral Chapel, 513 Seymour St., Kamloops.
