Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY JANE BRUCE Peacefully in her sleep, Mary Jane Bruce of Fairford First Nation, passed away on Sunday, November 2, 2003 at the age of 56 years. Mary leaves to mourn her children, Denise (Robert), Ida (John) and Michael (Eldean) sister Bertha; brother Bert; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her daughter Sheila; her son Herald; her parents, Adolphus and Irene Sumner. Mary was a volunteer at the Union Gospel Mission. She started having Bible studies with David Christmas, and later on became a soldier for the Salvation Army. Mary was a very generous person by heart. She had many friends who loved her. A special thank you to the Fairford Chief and Council, Community members, Anderson Family Funeral Home, all those who visited, those who offered their prayers and help, and those who provided food during our time of great loss. Thank You! A wake service will be held on Wednesday, November 5 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Salvation Army Corps, 324 Logan Ave., Winnipeg, MB. A wake service will be held on Thursday, November 6 at 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 7 at 2:00 p.m. Both services will be held at the Fairford House of Prayer, Fairford, MB, with Pastor Wilfred Bruce and Jim Anderson officiating.
