ERNA DEFEHR (nee NEUFELD) Peacefully, following a brief illness, it is with deep sadness, that we announce the death of Erna DeFehr on Sunday, November 2, 2003 at Concordia Hospital at the age of 85 years. She is survived by three daughters and one son, Elizabeth (Harry) Wall of Winnipeg; Albert (Bonnie) DeFehr of Red Deer, AB; Erna (Harold) Redekopp of Toronto, ON; Ruth (Les) Ginter of Sherwood Park, AB; eight grandchildren, Christine (Brad) Neufeld, Carolyn (Ted) Geddert, Stephen Braun, Philip DeFehr, Tannis Redekopp (David Fast), Thomas Redekopp, Daniel and Michael Ginter; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, five brothers and many nieces and nephews. Erna was predeceased by her husband William in 1987; two sisters and two brothers also predeceased her. Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 7 at 10:00 a.m. in Elmwood Mennonite Brethren Church, 145 Henderson Hwy. with Pastor Keith Poysti officiating. Viewing will be held on Thursday at Klassen Funeral Chapel from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Interment will take place in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
