Bob began his career at the Underwood Typewriter Company where he met his future wife, Mary McCallum. Bobs interest in sports surfaced again as he volunteered to coach his daughter Donnas softball team, and along with Mary staunchly supported their daughters and their grandchildrens sporting activities. After Bob retired at age 65 in 1980, he and Mary enjoyed some time each winter in Victoria, BC. While in residence in Winnipeg they placed great value on spending time with family and friends. For the last five and a half years Bob has lived in Bethel Place where the fellowship and friendship were invaluable to both himself and his family. Bobs family would like to thank the staff and residents of Bethel Place for their support and friendship over the years.
