KATHERINE BOBULA April 24, 1911 - November 3, 2003 The family sadly announces the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on November 3, 2003 at the age of 92 years. She was predeceased by her husband Paul; granddaughter Allison; her parents; three brothers and three sisters. She leaves to mourn her son Roger (Gisele) and her daughters, Pollyanna (Boris) and Mira (Marcel). She leaves seven grandchildren, Michelle, Kevin, Davolyn, Rhonda, Leslee, Jeffrey and Nicole; Also 11 great-grandchildren, Allyson, Krystle, Justin, Andrew, Lauryn, Adam, Ian, Aidan, Tori, Janelle and Kaylee. She also leaves two sisters, Sophie August and Stella Rusywich; sister-in-law, Anna Maczuga. Mom was born in Poland and moved to Canada with her family in 1929. They settled in Vassar, MB where she married Dad and farmed until 1967 when they moved to St. Norbert to live with their daughter and son-in-law. Mom was faithful to God, loved company and always looked forward to family gatherings. She had a real flair for baking, decorating and gardening, blessing us with her talents. Thank you Father Pat Morand, Dr. Brian Sharkey, the Palliative Care Unit and especially Nurse Heather. Cremation has taken place. A memorial mass will be celebrated by Rev. Father Dr. Patrick Morand at the St. Vital Catholic Church, 1629 Pembina Hwy., on Wednesday, Nove mber 5 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place at the St. Vital Catholic Cemetery on Crescent Drive following the mass. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Katherines memory to the St. Maurice School, 1639 Pembina Hwy.,Winnipeg, MB R3T 2G6. LECLAIRE BROTHERS in care of arrangements 775-2220.
