PATRICIA JOAN ARMSTRONG (nee BAUER) It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Patricia Joan Armstrong (nee Bauer) on Monday, November 3, 2003 in Brookings, SD at the age of 64 years. Pat leaves to mourn her beloved husband, Carman Terry Armstrong. Together they devoted all of their time to raising their children in West St. Paul. Loving mother to Cindy Trudeau (John) of Delta, BC; Russell Armstrong of Winnipeg, MB; and Susan Ward (Rick) of Winnipeg, MB. Devoted grandmother to Richard Skavinsky; Josh, Sam and Maggie Armstrong; Hayley Ward; and Hannah Trudeau. She also leaves to mourn her mother Ellen Jane Bauer; sister and best friend Jean Bowman (Burt) and brother William Bauer (Helen), all of Winnipeg, MB. She was predeceased by her father William Bauer. Pat was born in Winnipeg, MB and raised, educated and married in West Kildonan. She retired and moved from West St. Paul to Beaconia Beach where she spent many years enjoying the outdoors, walking with her husband Terry, golfing, gardening, picking berries in the forest and cooking and baking for her family and friends. She loved traveling and lived her life to the fullest. She always thought of others before herself and was a friend to all who met her. Her mother-in-law, Mrs. Olive Armstrong from Winnipeg, MB; brothers and sisters-in-law, Keith Armstrong of British Columbia; Tom and Mabel Armstrong of Stonewall, MB; Barb and Ed Chapiel of West St. Paul, MB; and Laurie Armstrong from Vancouver Island, BC; as well as many nieces and nephews that she leaves behind will sadly miss her kind, caring and fun loving manner. The family would like to thank all those who offered much needed love, comfort and support during this time. In lieu of flowers, donations in Pats memory, to Cancer Care Manitoba or a charity of ones choice would be greatly appreciated. Date of service to be announced at a later time.
