EDITH LOUVAINE (JONES) BRIGGS 1916 - 2003 Edith passed away November 3, at the Bayview, Pointe Claire PQ. Born in Llanberis, North Wales, August 7, 1916 she came to Canada in February 1951 with her husband Robert and two young children. She resided in Winnipeg and Montreal before retiring to Qualicum Beach on Vancouver Island. Following Roberts death in 1991 she made Calgary her home. For the past three years the staff at the Bayview cared for Edith. She was predeceased by her daughter Christine Mallete (Ron). She will be greatly missed by her children, Christopher (Linda) of Calgary, Pat Dawe (William) of Kirkland, John (Julie) of Tasmania, AU and Mark (Julie) of Winfield BC; son-in-law Ron Mallete of Neuville and grandchildren, Melanie, Vanessa, Tanya, Michael, Sean, Trevor, Emma, Stephen, Chelsea and Bobby. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to The V.O.N. A memorial service will be held at Collins Clarke Funeral Home in Pointe Claire on Thursday, November 6 at 11:00 a.m.
