WILLIAM PETRIE March 16, 1909 - November 3, 2003 It is with sadness we announce Dads passing at Seven Oaks Hospital, after a short illness. Predeceased by his wife Molly; son-in-law Earl, and great-grand-daughter Brianne. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Shirley and Barbara (Joe) grandchildren, Douglas, Brian (Sheryl), Margaret (Mike), Stan (Debbie) great-grandchildren, Alex and Shirley, Nathan and Devin, Sam, Stacy, Amanda and Curtis. Dad was a very independent person, still driving until last year. He enjoyed working with wood and could be found at the lake, working on his many projects. He also enjoyed his trips to Vancouver. Cremation has taken place and at Dads request there will be no service held. A private family service will take place at a later date in Lydiatt, where Dad will be laid to rest next to Mom.
