SHERYL ANNE ZECHEL Sheryls family regret to announce her tragic death on November 2, 2003. She is survived by her beloved children, Jordan, Nikolas, Leanne, Emily and Mani, who will miss her desperately; her mother Elaine Byers; father Harvey Zechel (Dagmar) sisters, Laura Cook (Todd), Danielle, Kathy Zechel (friend Dave) brothers, Paul Zechel (Cindy) Heidi, David Zechel (Corina) Maks, Anni; Danny Zechel (friend Tedrah) and grandmother Edith Zechel. She is also survived by her aunts, Stephanie Purvis (Roy), Joyce Oliver (Al) and Donna Gunn; uncles, Gordon Zechel (Jackie), Jerry Zechel (Ingrid), Wayne Jones (Betty) and numerous cousins. She was predeceased by her infant brother Anthony in 1965 and grandparents, Sally Jones (Byers), Norman Jones and Willard Zechel. Sheryl was born in Winnipeg on December 18, 1962 and grew up in the Whiteshell, Kenora and Selkirk. She dearly loved her children and did the best she could for them. Her other loves were nature and animals, especially cats. She volunteered as a cat rescuer and would want to thank all who assisted her in any way. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 6 at 2:00 p.m. from the St. Paul Lutheran Church, River Hills, MB with Pastor Don Reimer officiating. Interment in the Church Cemetery. A Trust Fund for her children in memory of Sheryl Zechel has been arranged at any South Interlake Credit Union where donations can be made. Flowers are gratefully declined.
